COVID-19
Caroline and Kevin will be delighted to welcome guests back to Aber Cottage as soon as a date for reopening is announced by the Welsh Government.
In line with Government guidelines on reopening we have prepared a risk assessment and a thorough cleaning protocol. We have achieved the Good to Go Industry standard mark demonstrating adherence to Government and public health guidance.
We have put in place the following measures to keep our guests, ourselves and the local community safe and ask that you adhere to them whilst staying with us.
Please use the hand sanitiser provided when you enter the building.
The wearing of face coverings is compulsory in all public areas of the building but is not required when eating in the dining room. Social distancing and regular, thorough hand washing should be observed by all guests.
Social Distancing
Please keep a safe distance away from your fellow guests and be aware of the pinch points, especially on the stairs and landing. Entrance and exit to the car park is via the dining room - please try to avoid walking through the dining room while other guests are eating. Departure times and taking luggage to the car park will need to be managed - please let us know your expected departure time so we can assist you.
Breakfast
Breakfast will be served in the dining room and we aim to stagger serving times to fit in with guests’ requirements. Currently, there will be no self service selection of fruit and cereals etc. All food will be served directly from the kitchen and will be brought to the dining room and placed on the counter for you to collect, avoiding the need for us to come directly to your table. Tables will be cleared when guests have left the dining room.
Room Servicing and Cleaning
Room servicing will be kept to a minimum during your stay - bins will be emptied, and tea trays refreshed. Please ask if there is anything else you require.
Enhanced cleaning and disinfection measures are in place and touch points are wiped down and sanitised regularly.
Please check out by 10 am to allow us time to prepare the rooms for the next guests.
